The best AI marketing agents for small businesses in 2026
An AI marketing agent is software that plans and does marketing work, such as writing pages, scheduling posts or sending email campaigns, through the tools you connect, instead of only answering prompts. For a small business, the best one depends on what you are missing: someone to run all of your marketing, or help with one channel inside a tool you already pay for.
We read each vendor's own pages on 2 November 2026 and wrote down the price, what it covers and what it says happens before anything goes out. We make AgentCeres and rank it first because it is built for a business with no marketer. If that isn't you, each card below says who the option suits better.

The shortlist
AgentCeres
Top pickA managed team of AI marketing agents, led by a Growth Officer you talk to in one chat. It plans the work, runs SEO, social media, ads, AI search, PR and community work, and can build and host your website. Posts and emails wait for your approval by default, an optional Auto mode can send the routine ones for you, and it never spends money you haven't approved.
- Growth Officer
- Research agent
- SEO agent
- Social media agent
- Ads agent
- Influencer agent
- Launch & PR agent
- GEO agent
- Community agent
- Sales agent
Pros- Covers the whole job, from deciding what to do to doing it, so it fits a business with no marketer
- Also builds and hosts your website, so there is somewhere to send visitors
- Free plan, then paid plans from $15 a month, every one with the whole team
- 14-day free trial with no card, and a short brief by email every morning
Cons- A young product: few independent reviews so far, and we wrote this comparison
- No CRM or email platform of its own; it works through the tools you connect
- Publishing directly needs each channel connected, and heavy work such as video uses up monthly credits faster
- No human strategist below the Enterprise plan
- Pricing:
- Free plan; paid from $15/mo
- Best for:
- Small businesses and founders with no marketer who want the work done
Okara
Sold as "Your AI CMO for growth and marketing": agents for SEO, AI search, content, social media, Reddit, influencer outreach and technical SEO fixes, with a 30-day strategy to start from.
Pros- A broad set of agents for content-led growth across search, AI search and social
- Its Reddit agent drafts "for you to review before publishing" and its SEO agent "for your approval"
- States monthly minimums, such as at least 30 article drafts a month on the Pro plan
- Its coding agent opens pull requests with technical SEO fixes against your repo
Cons- The highest entry price here: $129 a month, or $249 for the full set of agents
- Its pages don't mention running paid ad campaigns or building websites
- The approved-post flow can publish automatically, so check how each channel is set up
- Pricing:
- $129–$249/mo; 7-day free trial
- Best for:
- Founders with a site and a budget who want steady content and search output
Sintra
A set of AI helpers for running a small business, each with a job title: Soshie for social media, Seomi for SEO, Emmie for email marketing and Penn for copywriting, alongside helpers for support, sales and data.
Pros- Low cost on a long commitment: $15.60 a month on its 12-month plan
- Named helpers for several marketing jobs, plus non-marketing help on the same plan
- Its comparison table lists posting automatically to platforms, with Instagram and Facebook scheduling shown
- A 14-day money-back guarantee
Cons- Month to month it is $48.50, and the page presents every price as a discount
- No dedicated ads helper: Penn writes ad copy, and we found no campaign management
- No free trial mentioned
- You can set "approval levels", but the page doesn't state the default, and it also says its helpers "don't require supervision"
- Pricing:
- $15.60/mo on a 12-month plan; $48.50 month to month
- Best for:
- Owners who want cheap help with several small jobs and will direct each one
Wix AI Marketing Agent
An agent inside the Wix dashboard. It drafts a marketing plan for your approval, then helps with SEO, social media, email and paid ads from one place.
Pros- No new tool to learn if your site is already on Wix
- Wix says it will "ask for your approval before any changes"
- SEO work is free, and social media and email have free quotas
Cons- It lives in Wix, so it only makes sense for a site built there
- It runs on AI credits, which free plans get in a small daily allowance
- Ads are on you: "you need to create and fund a Google Ads campaign"
- Pricing:
- AI credits: included with new Premium plans, a daily allowance on free plans
- Best for:
- Businesses whose website is already on Wix
HubSpot Marketing Hub
Marketing agents on top of HubSpot's CRM: Content Agent writes blog posts, social content and landing pages, Campaign Agent turns one goal into a multi-channel campaign, and Nurture Agent sends each lead a personal email based on their stage.
Pros- Works where your contacts already are, if your business runs on HubSpot
- Free for up to 2 users; Starter is advertised from $7 a seat a month, a limited-time price for new customers (the page also shows $20)
- Agent Hub is included in the Starter, Professional and Enterprise editions
Cons- Professional starts at $800 a month, plus a required one-time $3,000 onboarding fee
- Many agents run on HubSpot Credits, so usage can cost more than the seat
- Content Agent and Nurture Agent were marked Beta when we read the page
- Its AI page doesn't state an approval step for the marketing agents
- Pricing:
- Free plan; Starter from $7/seat/mo for new customers; Professional from $800/mo
- Best for:
- Businesses already on HubSpot with someone to run it
Klaviyo Composer
Klaviyo's AI marketing agent, inside its marketing platform. Composer "drafts cross-channel campaigns and flows, complete with on-brand creative and copy" from a goal you give it.
Pros- Clear approval wording: "Nothing goes live without your approval"
- If you already use Klaviyo, it sits next to your customer lists and past campaigns
- The free plan includes $5 of Composer usage a month, up to 250 profiles and 500 emails
Cons- Only useful if Klaviyo is, or will be, how you reach customers
- Its page describes campaigns, automations and forms, not SEO, PR or community work
- Paid pricing comes from a calculator, so there is no single sticker price to compare
- Pricing:
- Free up to 250 profiles; paid price from a calculator
- Best for:
- Online shops that sell through email and SMS
Lindy
A general assistant for a whole team, in Slack, iMessage, email and your browser. Lindy describes itself as an AI employee that "plugs into your tools" and learns how you work, and its menu lists paid ads, marketing strategy, social media, and SEO and content.
Pros- Handles marketing alongside everyday work such as your inbox and calendar
- Says "Nothing irreversible happens without your approval"
- A free week of credits, with no credit card
Cons- Not marketing-only: you teach it how you work and save routines as skills
- Its FAQ is softer on approval: writing and sending actions "can wait for your approval"
- Billed per active user with pooled credits, so a task's cost varies with its size
- Pricing:
- $49.99/mo per active user; a free week of credits
- Best for:
- Teams that want one assistant for everything, with marketing as one job among many

Which AI marketing agent fits your business
You have no marketer and want the work done. Start with AgentCeres or Okara. AgentCeres costs less to start, handles ads and can build your website. Okara commits to monthly content minimums at a higher price.
Your marketing already lives on a platform. Start there. If your site is on Wix, your contacts are in HubSpot or your revenue comes through Klaviyo, the agent inside that product already has your data, and trying it costs little.
You want cheap help with several small jobs. Sintra's helpers cost little on a 12-month plan, and you direct each one.
You want one assistant for everything. Lindy treats marketing as one job among many.
You only want ads run. A one-channel agent may suit you better: see the roundups for GrowthGPT and Sprites AI. For the broader category of AI growth agents, we explain the differences separately.
Four questions to ask before you pay
- Who decides what to work on? A tool waits for your prompt. An agent should propose the week's work from your goals and data. If you still write every brief, you have bought a faster writer, not a marketer.
- What happens before something goes out? Find the vendor's own wording, and check whether approval is the default or a setting. Ask the same about money: what can it spend without you?
- Can it act, or only draft? Ask which channels it can publish to once connected. Drafts you still have to copy and paste save less time than they seem to.
- What does a busy month cost? Many agents bill in credits, so the sticker price can be a floor. Run one real task during the trial and see how much it uses.
What we learned building one
One of the failures we have worked hardest on isn't weak writing. It is an agent saying a job is done when it isn't: a post that never published, a connection that failed quietly, a page edited but never pushed live. We have built checks against this in AgentCeres, but no product in this category should be taken at its word, ours included. During a trial, ask for the live link rather than trusting the summary, and watch for agent washing: a chatbot relabelled as an agent.
Many people who come to us also have no website yet. A marketing agent needs somewhere to send visitors, which is why we made building and hosting a site part of the job. If you don't have one, check that an agent can help with it before you compare anything else.
What we left out, and why
- Jasper now calls itself "Applied AI for Enterprise Marketing". Its Pro plan is $69 a seat a month with a 7-day free trial, and its pages don't say that it publishes to your channels itself. See our Jasper alternatives.
- Salesforce Campaign Agent "turns marketer-defined goals into live campaigns", as part of Marketing Cloud, and its page states no price.
- Relevance AI sells marketing agents under the heading "Built for enterprise teams".
- Agencies and freelancers aren't software, but they are the real alternative for many small businesses. We compare them in alternatives to a marketing agency.
These products change quickly, and so do their prices. Treat the figures above as what each vendor's page said on 2 November 2026, and check the page before you decide. If you want to see how ours works first, read how AgentCeres works or see pricing.

FAQ
- What is an AI marketing agent?
- An AI marketing agent is software that plans and carries out marketing work through the tools you connect: writing pages and posts, scheduling them, sending campaigns and reporting what happened. A chatbot answers when you ask; an agent works toward a goal across several steps. Some cover one channel, and some, like AgentCeres, run a team of specialist agents across channels.
- What is the best AI marketing agent for a small business?
- It depends on what you are missing. With no marketer, we would start with AgentCeres (we make it): a Growth Officer and specialist agents plan and run the work, and it can build your website. If your marketing already lives on Wix, HubSpot or Klaviyo, try the agent inside that product first, because it already has your data.
- How much does an AI marketing agent cost?
- As read on 2 November 2026, AgentCeres, HubSpot and Klaviyo have free plans, and Wix gives free plans a daily allowance of AI credits. Paid entry prices run from $15 a month for AgentCeres and $15.60 a month for Sintra on a 12-month plan, up to $129 a month for Okara. HubSpot's Professional plan starts at $800 a month, plus a one-time $3,000 onboarding fee. Many of these bill in credits, so a busy month can cost more than the sticker price.
- Can an AI marketing agent do the work of a marketing team or agency?
- For recurring work such as SEO pages, social posts and reporting, it increasingly can, especially for a small business with no team at all. Senior judgment on positioning, brand and pricing still needs a person, so many founders keep a human adviser for that and let agents do the execution.
- Do AI marketing agents post without asking?
- Some can, so read the vendor's wording. Klaviyo says "Nothing goes live without your approval" and Wix says its agent will "ask for your approval before any changes". Sintra lets you set approval levels without stating the default. AgentCeres holds posts and emails for your approval by default, you can switch on Auto mode to let the routine ones go out, and it never spends money you haven't approved.
- What's the difference between an AI marketing agent and an AI marketing tool?
- A tool does one step when you ask: write this email, suggest these keywords. An agent takes a goal and works through the steps itself using connected tools. Plenty of products call themselves agents without doing this, so check who decides the next task. If it is always you, it is a tool.
- Is there a free AI marketing agent?
- Yes, with limits. AgentCeres has a free plan and a 14-day trial with no card, HubSpot is free for up to 2 users, Klaviyo's free plan includes $5 of Composer usage a month, and Wix gives free plans a daily allowance of AI credits. A free tier is enough to test one real task, which is the best way to compare them.
