Sales agent

Finds companies and people who fit your customers, checks their work emails, and writes short cold emails into your Gmail or Outlook drafts. You read each one and send it yourself.

Free for 14 days. No credit card.

What Sales agent does

  • Builds a list of companies, and the right people at them, from the customer you describe: industry, size, location and job titles.
  • Finds each person's work email and checks that it can receive mail before a draft uses it.
  • Writes short, plain cold emails into your Gmail or Outlook drafts, with one ask and an opt-out line in each. You read, edit and send.
  • Suggests partners for co-marketing: businesses that serve the same customers and could run a joint offer, webinar or referral swap with you.
  • Shows where every contact came from and when it was found, so you can check any name on the list.
  • Remembers who asked not to be contacted and leaves them off every list after that.

What Sales agent does not do

  • Never sends an email itself. Every email is a draft; you send it from your own Gmail or Outlook.
  • No LinkedIn automation or scraping.
  • No purchased lists, phone calls or text messages.
  • Never invents a contact, a job title or an email address. What it cannot find, it marks unknown.

How it works

Most small businesses know who they would like to sell to and never find the time to look those people up. The Sales agent does the looking. Tell it who your best customers are, or let the Growth Officer pass on what it already knows about your business, and it comes back with a short list of companies and people who look like them.

A list you can check. Each company comes with the people who would decide, their job titles, the country, and where and when the agent found them. You don't need an Apollo or Clay subscription to build the list. If you already pay for an Apollo subscription, connect it and the agent searches your Apollo instead of its built-in data.

Emails checked before they are used. The agent looks up each work email and checks that it can receive mail. An address goes into a draft only if that check passed or the company publishes the address on its own website. Anything it cannot confirm stays marked unknown and gets no draft.

Drafts in your inbox, sent by you. Each email is written into your Gmail or Outlook drafts: plain text, short, one clear ask, an easy way to opt out, and who you are and why you are writing in the first two sentences. You open the draft, change what you like and send it from your own address. The agent keeps the numbers small on purpose: the address you write to your customers from is the one at risk.

Partners, not just prospects. Ask who you should team up with and it looks for businesses that serve the same customers without competing with you, suggests what a joint offer could look like, and drafts the first note the same way.

A no is final. When someone asks not to be contacted, or an address bounces, the agent records it and leaves that person off every list after that.

FAQ

Does it email people on its own?
No. It writes each email as a draft in your Gmail or Outlook. You read it, change what you like and send it yourself, from your own address.
Where do the contacts come from?
From business-contact databases and public pages such as a company's own website. Every contact on the list shows where it came from and when it was found, and the agent never makes one up. You don't need an Apollo or Clay subscription to build the list.
Which countries need care?
Some countries expect a business to have the recipient's prior consent before sending a cold email, even business to business. Germany, Spain, Canada and Australia are among them. When a list includes people in one of these countries, or in a country the agent cannot place, it tells you before drafting and drafts only for the people you confirm you have a lawful basis to email, such as their consent or an existing customer relationship. For people elsewhere in the EU and in the UK, the first email says where their address came from. You are the sender, so following the law where they are is your responsibility. This is not legal advice; if you are unsure, ask a lawyer.
Does it work on the free trial?
Partly. On the trial it can look people up by company and job title and write drafts in your Gmail or Outlook. Company lists, work-email lookups and email checks start with a paid plan.
