How AgentCeres uses TikTok
AgentCeres connects to TikTok with TikTok's own sign-in. You choose which permissions to allow on TikTok's page, and your agents only use what you allowed. Your Social media agent reads your follower, like and video counts and the views, likes, comments and shares on each public video, so it can tell you which posts are working without you opening the app. TikTok only shares public videos with connected apps, so private videos and drafts are never read.
When your agent has a video ready — one made with AgentCeres's video tools or one you uploaded to your Files — it proposes sending it to your TikTok drafts. The approval card shows the video itself, the TikTok account it goes to, the suggested caption with a Copy button, and whether the video was made with AI. Nothing is sent until you approve that card, and Auto mode never approves TikTok sends. After you approve, TikTok fetches the video and sends you a notification; you open it in the TikTok app, paste the caption, choose who can see it, add music if you like, and post.
The honest value is the busywork around TikTok, not the posting itself. Your agent watches what each video earns, suggests what to make next, and hands you finished videos in your drafts, while the final post stays in your hands. One thing to know: TikTok accepts at most five unposted drafts from an app in 24 hours, so if a send is refused, post or delete the older ones in the TikTok app.

- What does AgentCeres read from TikTok?

- What if I untick a permission when I connect?
- Your agents simply can't use it. The connector page lists any permission you left out, and you can reconnect to allow it later. For example, without the video permission your agent can still read your follower counts but not your video views.
