What AgentCeres does with Outlook

Reads

Your Outlook or Microsoft 365 inbox and sent mail, searched when an agent needs to know who wrote back.

Writes

Save drafts straight into your Outlook Drafts folder; that runs directly, without an approval card, and sends nothing. Sending an email or a reply is proposed on an approval card and goes out from your own mailbox once that card is approved. If you turn on Auto mode for a workspace, its cards are approved automatically.

What AgentCeres reads from Outlook

  • Replies from the people you emailed, found by sender, subject or date
  • Your Sent Items — what already went out, and to whom
  • Whole email conversations, so a reply lands in the right thread
  • Inbox messages about a customer, partner or lead you ask about
  • Folder and unread counts, for a quick read on your mailbox

How AgentCeres uses Outlook

AgentCeres connects to Outlook — an Outlook.com mailbox or a Microsoft 365 work mailbox — so your agents work from the same email you do. When an agent needs it, it searches your inbox and Sent Items: did a prospect reply, what already went out, what a conversation has said so far. Reading changes nothing: nothing is sent, moved, deleted or marked by a read. Outlook is also write-capable, in two narrow ways. An agent can save a draft into your Outlook Drafts folder — that runs directly, without an approval card, and sends nothing. Sending is approval-gated: a new email or a reply is proposed on an approval card and goes out from your own mailbox once that card is approved. By default you review it and approve it with one click. If you turn on Auto mode for a workspace, its cards are approved automatically.

Mail goes out from your address, not from a bulk-sending service, so replies come back to the inbox you already use and every sent message sits in your Sent Items. The connection covers the one mailbox you sign in with; AgentCeres cannot pick another sender. For a work account, your organization's Microsoft 365 administrator may need to approve AgentCeres once before you can connect.

In practice

Example

Before a follow-up goes out, an agent checks your Outlook inbox and Sent Items, so a prospect who already replied gets an answer instead of a second cold email.

Outlook integration FAQ

Does AgentCeres integrate with Outlook?
Yes. AgentCeres connects to Outlook.com and Microsoft 365 mailboxes so your agents can search your inbox and sent mail, save drafts in your Outlook, and send emails and replies from your own mailbox through an approval card. Reading is the default mode; saving a draft sends nothing, and every send is approval-gated.
What does AgentCeres read from Outlook?
Messages in your inbox and Sent Items, searched by sender, recipient, subject or date when an agent needs them — most often to see whether someone replied — and whole conversations, so a drafted reply is grounded in what was actually said.
Can AgentCeres send emails from my Outlook?
Yes, through an approval card. An agent proposes the email or reply on an approval card, and it is sent from your mailbox once that card is approved. By default you review it and approve it with one click; if you turn on Auto mode for a workspace, its cards are approved automatically. Saving a draft runs without a card and sends nothing, and reading your mailbox never sends, deletes, or changes anything.
How do I connect Outlook?
Connect from the AgentCeres connectors page and sign in with Microsoft. If you use a work account and Microsoft asks for administrator approval, your organization's Microsoft 365 administrator approves AgentCeres once; then connect again.

  • Newsletter campaign performance — opens, clicks, and unsubscribes — from Mailchimp.

  • Email and SMS campaigns, flows, lists, segments, and engagement events from your Klaviyo account.

  • AgentCeres uses Instantly to set up cold-email campaigns, add leads and switch campaigns on. The only campaign data it reads is what the card for switching a campaign on shows — the campaign's name, status, first subject line and lead counts; it does not pull reply rates or other results.

  • AgentCeres uses SendGrid to send the emails your agents draft; it does not pull delivery or engagement stats from SendGrid.

  • AgentCeres uses your Resend account only to send the emails its agents write; it doesn't pull delivery or engagement data.

  • AgentCeres uses your Customer.io account only to trigger broadcasts you've already built there; it doesn't pull people, events, or campaign metrics.
