Best NanoCorp alternatives in 2026
NanoCorp (nanocorp.so) asks you to describe the business you wish existed, then its agents build and run it: a website, an email address, checkout through Stripe, and Meta ads, working towards revenue "with no human intervention". It is built by Phospho Inc. and backed by Y Combinator. Read on its own site on 26 October 2026: a 3-day trial with 15 welcome credits and no card, then Founder at $30 a month for 30 credits, with larger credit packs up to 2,000 a month. The pricing page also lists a "20% fee on withdrawals". This page is about that NanoCorp, not Nanocorp Ltd, the nanotechnology company.
People look past NanoCorp for one of three reasons: they already have a real business and want growth for it rather than a new business invented by an AI; they don't want a fifth of their takings to go to the platform; or they want a say before ads and emails go out in their name. For all three, AgentCeres is our top pick: a managed marketing team that builds and hosts your website and markets your business, for a flat $39 or $99 a month, with no cut of anything. If what you liked about NanoCorp is the experiment itself — an AI trying a business end to end — Polsia is the closest like-for-like, and Paperclip lets you run the same idea on your own infrastructure.

The shortlist
AgentCeres
Top pickAgentCeres — the AI Growth Officer — is a managed team of AI marketing specialists for SEO, GEO, social, ads, PR and community that also builds, publishes and hosts your website. It grows the business you have instead of inventing a new one.
- Growth Officer
- Research agent
- SEO agent
- Social media agent
- Ads agent
- Influencer agent
- Launch & PR agent
- GEO agent
- Community agent
- Customer feedback agent
Pros- A flat $39 or $99 a month — no fee on your sales, your withdrawals or your ad spend; it does not sit between you and your customers' payments
- Builds, publishes and hosts your website (a custom domain on paid plans) and reports its visits and form submissions
- Public posts and outbound emails wait for your approval by default — an owner can switch on Auto mode for routine posts — and it never spends money you haven't approved
- A free plan and a 14-day trial with no card
Cons- It won't invent a business for you — it markets the business you run
- No cold outreach; for booking meetings by email, pick an outbound tool
- More of your attention by default than a no-human-in-the-loop system: you approve what goes out
- Pricing:
- Free plan; $39 or $99/mo flat
- Best for:
- Owners of a real business who want a site and steady marketing without giving up a share of revenue
Polsia
An autonomous AI co-founder that plans the roadmap, ships code, runs ads, replies to customers and posts for a whole company. The closest like-for-like to NanoCorp.
Pros- Free to start with no credit card
- Broader than NanoCorp's ads — it also replies to customers, works deals and posts on X
- A smaller cut of sales: a platform fee of "currently 3%" on customer payments, against NanoCorp's 20% on withdrawals
Cons- No public price list on polsia.com — plans are shown in-product
- A platform fee of "currently 20%" on advertising spend, taken out of the daily ad budget you set
- Its terms let scheduled ads and outbound run on a prior, general approval rather than per-run approval
- Pricing:
- Free to start; 3% of customer payments; 20% fee on ad spend
- Best for:
- Founders who want the autonomous-company idea with a smaller cut of sales
Cofounder (cofounder.co)
An agent orchestration platform with departments of agents for engineering, sales, marketing, design, finance and ops, aimed at early-stage software companies rather than one-click businesses.
Pros- Department structure with shared context — positioning, brand, a marketing website, outbound and support
- No revenue share stated on its pricing page or in its terms; you remain the merchant of record
- Marks risky steps such as incorporating an LLC or opening a bank account for your approval
Cons- Pro starts at $120 a month, four times NanoCorp's Founder plan, plus usage billed in arrears
- No bring-your-own key or Claude Code / Codex subscription
- Its terms allow some agent actions, including code deploys, without prior human review
- Pricing:
- 7-day free trial; Pro from $120/mo plus usage
- Best for:
- Software founders who want agents across departments, outbound included
Paperclip
An open-source (MIT) control plane for running a company of AI agents — org chart, goals, budgets and approvals — that you host yourself with the agents and models you choose.
Pros- Free software with more than 107,000 GitHub stars (26 October 2026), and no vendor fee on anything you earn
- Budgets auto-pause agents that overspend, and agents can't hire new agents without your approval
- Your data and your agents stay on your own machine or server
Cons- You set it up and run it; the hosted app is behind a waitlist
- Model and hosting costs land on your own bill
- No website, email or checkout out of the box — you wire those up
- Pricing:
- Free and open-source; you pay your own model and hosting costs
- Best for:
- Technical founders who want to run the experiment on their own infrastructure

What a 20% withdrawal fee costs, worked through. Take NanoCorp's entry plan ($30 a month for 30 credits) and a business that withdraws everything it earns. At $100 of sales in a month, the fee is $20, so the platform costs $50 — half the takings. At $500 it is $100 plus $30, or 26%. At $2,000 it is $400 plus $30, or 21.5%: the percentage never falls below 20%, because it is charged on every dollar you take out. A flat plan works the other way round — AgentCeres is $39 or $99 whether you sell $100 or $20,000. These are illustrations from the published prices, before payment-processing fees, which apply on every platform.
The second difference is who presses go. NanoCorp's terms say you authorise its agents' actions — publishing, sending emails, creating payment links, running ads and incurring charges — by creating and running a business, and that "actions taken by your agents are your actions". Its ads go live in under a minute from a daily budget you set. That is the point of the product, and fine for an experiment; for a business with a reputation and existing customers, a model where you approve outbound before it goes out is the safer default. See what an approval gate is for why we built AgentCeres that way.
NanoCorp shows its own results in public, which is to its credit: on 26 October 2026 its homepage counters read $1,530 earned by businesses in the last 30 days and 243 businesses earning. Read that as what it is — an early, honest scoreboard — rather than as a reason for or against the product.

FAQ
- Does NanoCorp take a cut of my revenue?
- Yes, at withdrawal. NanoCorp's pricing page lists a "20% fee on withdrawals" on the Founder plan, which starts at $30 a month for 30 credits. Customer payments are processed by Stripe into your business balance, and the fee applies when you take money out. Meta ad spend is billed to your card daily, separately from credits. AgentCeres charges a flat $39 or $99 a month and takes no share of sales, withdrawals or ad spend.
- Can I get a refund from NanoCorp?
- Not as a rule. Section 5 of NanoCorp's Terms of Service (last updated 19 September 2026) says "All sales are final" and that it does not refund usage charges or other payments. After the 3-day trial the site stays up, but checkout, a custom domain, email and the agents pause until you pick a plan; nothing is deleted.
- What's the best NanoCorp alternative for a business that already has customers?
- AgentCeres. NanoCorp is built to start a new business and run it with no human in the loop; AgentCeres is built to grow the one you have — it builds and hosts your website and runs SEO, GEO, social, ads and PR with specialists, with outbound waiting for your approval by default. It costs a flat $39 or $99 a month with no fee on your revenue. If you want the autonomous experiment instead, Polsia is the closest alternative.
